· Learn about organic gardening and permaculture techniques

· Share skills and knowledge with other gardeners

· Grow your own organic food

· Meet other people from the local community

· Nurture a  meeting place for social events and community gatherings

· Advance the sustainable development of our urban areas

· Create beautiful improvements to our local landscape
